In relation to -b and -B and Windows MME drivers, anything smaller
than 1024 or 2048 will cause drop-outs because that particular mode
of output can't have any smaller buffers (it sits in front of a mixer that
prevents that).

If you are using a GUI, it's most likely this that is setting the device
number and you will have to set it there. Otherwise a -odacN would
set device N.
