Hi Folks - <br><br>I built 5.08 on Ubuntu Gutsy, and am attempting to install it by running&nbsp; install.py.&nbsp; When I run it from my user account, everything fails since permission is denied when trying to copy items to /usr/local/...&nbsp; If I execute:<br>
<br>sudo ./install.py <br>or <br>sudo python ./install.py<br><br>The script runs without much incident, save installing the &#39;language interfaces&#39;:<br>&nbsp;=== Installing language interfaces ===<br>install: cannot stat `po/de/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo&#39;: No such file or directory<br>
&nbsp;*** error copying /usr/local/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo<br>install: cannot stat `po/en_GB/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo&#39;: No such file or directory<br>&nbsp;*** error copying /usr/local/share/locale/en_GB/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo<br>

&nbsp;*** error copying /usr/local/share/locale/ro/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo<br><br><br>HOWEVER!&nbsp; When I go to look for my installed files, I find that the directories are created, but are empty.&nbsp; Has anyone else seen this problem?<br>
