Hi Folks -

I built 5.08 on Ubuntu Gutsy, and am attempting to install it by running
install.py.  When I run it from my user account, everything fails since
permission is denied when trying to copy items to /usr/local/...  If I
execute:

sudo ./install.py
or
sudo python ./install.py

The script runs without much incident, save installing the 'language
interfaces':

 *** error copying /usr/local/share/locale/de/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo

install: cannot stat `po/en_US/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo': No such file or
directory

install: cannot stat `po/es_CO/LC_MESSAGES/csound5.mo': No such file or
directory

HOWEVER!  When I go to look for my installed files, I find that the
directories are created, but are empty.  Has anyone else seen this problem?
