If streaming off of the hard disk is important, why don't you just
build your sampler engine in Csound using diskin2 or similar. No one
says you have to run everything in one pass. You can create your
tanbur sounds separately as it's own orchestra in Csound; physically
modeled or however you choose to do it. You could then put the
resultant audio files into your Csound sampler engine.
