Why would a simple text editor execute .csd files? A simple editor such as cseditor can be encapsulated into a launcher program but to execute .csd files implicitly is beyond the scope of a text editing program. It can of course not read .py files. Python is a completely separate language from Csound and should remain as such. -David On Mon, Apr 21, 2008 at 10:46 AM, Michael Gogins wrote: > Does it now execute .csd and also .py files? > > Regards, > Mike > > > -----Original Message----- > >From: David Akbari > >Sent: Apr 21, 2008 9:53 AM > >To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk > > >Subject: [Csnd] Re: Re: Re: csound editor survey > > > >The syntax highlighting program cseditor written in FLTK using C++ > >which is in the canonical CVS repository.
