John or Steven can advise you on that. I don't think you need the new parser just yet, I certainly get on fine without it.

Hello

I am trying to build 5.08 on Ubuntu.
Everything OK, except that the "new parser" can not be built.
I have flex and bison installed on the system, so what else can be preventing this from building?

Furthermore, do i need the "new parser"?
