OS:
winXP pro, version 2002, Service pack 3

Hardware:
Dell Precision M4300

soundcards:
internal SigmaTel card
RME Multiface on pcmcia

CPU
Intel Core 2 Duo, T7700 2.4 GHz


** Please note that portaudio works on this machine. It works with
csound 5.08 binary installer downloaded from soundforge, and it works
with my own compiled csound version. So it seems to me there must be
something with the 5.09 binary installer.
