I wish I could go to these things, I have an MFA but being the wrong category of person I can't get academic work, so I'm a genuine starving artist. Too bad its so hard, I can't even get a music show in LA, basically I have to give up food and sleep to be creative, and don't have a wife or family. You have to live like such a monk to be an artist in Los Angeles that I haven't had 8 hours of sleep in 10 years nor 3 meals per day. I'm hoping after I die someone will discover my lost CSD files and one day I'll be a post-humous csound star!
