This is interesting, thanks for sharing. I must admit that the specific details of your tuning and harmonics is something that I can not actually judge, as my ears are not trained for this kind of thing. But, from looking at your orchestra, it seems like most of the instruments only differ in parameter settings (ftable/waveform selection, and harmonic ratios), so you might be able to make the orchestra a lot simpler by only using one instrument and supplying these parameters via p-fields. As to "what could make the sound more interesting", it depends largely what you are after, what you would like it to sound like. Now it sounds pretty dark and a bit clustered, it sounds like this is what you want it to sound like, so the audio itself does not immediately suggest something that should be changed (in my opinion). You don't tell anything about the python processes involved in making the music, it might be interesting to hear about that too. There is a few people doing Csound and Python here, but it is by no means a huge community. Thanks for sharing your work. best Oeyvind 2008/8/12, '2+ : > finally i got my "compose a cs.sco with python" project got launched > so my podcast will be focusing that kinda thang for a while > http://www002.upp.so-net.ne.jp/buyobuyo/micro/rss.xml > this one is from the second episode uploaded today > http://sarigama.namaste.jp/loops/song1_080812.mp3 > just curious what you think about the sound > > ar m only using a simply written orc for this > and wondering what i should get into to make the sound much more interesting > files will be constantly updated but will stay @: > http://sarigama.namaste.jp/oil/oil.orc > http://sarigama.namaste.jp/oil/oil.sco > > i know that some of you are going way ahead doing cs.py related thangs > well i feel easy building everythang by myself > but i wonder what the trend is > is there a huge cs.py community for sharing codes? > what do you think is that i should at least give up and > start from learning what people are doing? > > tia > > > > Send bugs reports to this list. > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body "unsubscribe csound" >
