Hi Oeyvind. Attached is a zip file with prebuilt win32 binaries as well as the source code needed to build the package yourself, if you have the VST SDK that is. Also attached is a simple command line application that will build VST dll's from a Csound text file. You will need to rename this file from 'buildPlugin' to 'buildPlugin.exe', I can't send executables from my email account. There are two sample Csound files thrown in there too so you to see how it works. I've tested them using this free VST host application, vstHost which can be found here: http://www.hermannseib.com/english/vsthost.htm The tags used are the same as those used in csLADSPA and are described in the README.txt file. Rory. p.s. this software has not really been tested so be warned... 2008/11/5 Oeyvind Brandtsegg : > Hello > > What is the current status of using Csound as a VST plugin ? > I downloaded the CsoundVST.dll (for 5.08) from kunstmusik, but is does > not show up automatically in Cubase, when I hit "update" to tell > cubase to look once more for plugins, it crashes. > Is the dll at kunstmusik for doubles or floats ? > > best > Oeyvind > > > Send bugs reports to this list. > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body "unsubscribe csound" >
