Ok. I had 5.09, but for floats ... After installing 5.09d I can make Cubase load CsoundVST, but it does not show up as an available VST instrument or effect. (I can not start an instance) In Cubase4, I set the plugin path via a panel called "plugin information", now, CsoundVST will show up in the list ov available plugins in this window, but it does not show up in the VSTinstruments panel (where I would expect to find it when I want to start an instance of it). So, one step closer, now it does not crash, but it does not actually show up where I can use it either... I will have to post a new CsoundVST.dll that does not have this requirement, or you can install 5.08 and then install 5.09 on top of it. > > Hope this helps, > Mike > > -----Original Message----- >>From: Oeyvind Brandtsegg <obrandts@gmail.com> >>Sent: Nov 5, 2008 3:16 PM >>To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk >>Subject: [Csnd] Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: csound as vst plugin >> >>It was some time since I've read it, so I read it again. >>It seems I've set everythng up correctly according to the description. >> >>This is the error (dialog popup window) >>********************************************** >>Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library >> >>Runtime Error! >> >>Program: C:Programfiler\Steinberg\Cubase 4\Cubase4.exe >> >>R6034 >>An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly. >>Please contact the application support team for more information. >>********************************************** >> >>best >>Oeyvind >> >>2008/11/5 Michael Gogins <gogins@pipeline.com>: >>> Did you read my "A Csound Tutorial," which describes the setup for CsoundVST? >>> >>> Hope this helps, >>> Mike >>> >>> -----Original Message----- >>>>From: Oeyvind Brandtsegg <obrandts@gmail.com> >>>>Sent: Nov 5, 2008 2:05 PM >>>>To: csound@lists.bath.ac.uk >>>>Subject: [Csnd] Re: Re: Re: csound as vst plugin >>>> >>>>Strange, it is the doubles version of 5.08 that I tried using it with. >>>>Is it correct to copy the CsoundVST.dll to Csound/bin, and then >>>>include Csound/bin in the directories to search for VST plugins within >>>>Cubase ? >>>>I also tried copying CsoundVST.dll to Steinberg\Cubase 4\VSTPlugins. >>>> >>>>Maybe the problem is related to Cubase 4, >>>>did others use that, or Cubase 3 ? >>>> >>>>Oeyvind >>>> >>>>2008/11/5 Brian Redfern <brianwredfern@gmail.com>: >>>>> Along the same lines, I wonder what the status of the csound au plugin >>>>> project is?
