Ok.
I had 5.09, but for floats ...

After installing 5.09d I can make Cubase load CsoundVST,
but it does not show up as an available VST instrument or effect.
(I can not start an instance)

In Cubase4, I set the plugin path via a panel called "plugin information",
now, CsoundVST will show up in the list ov available plugins in this window,
but it does not show up in the VSTinstruments panel (where I would
expect to find it when I want to start an instance of it).

So, one step closer, now it does not crash, but it does not actually
show up where I can use it either...

> You need the Microsoft runtime library... sigh... the old 5.08 installer installs that, the new 5.09 installer does not. I will have to post a new CsoundVST.dll that does not have this requirement, or you can install 5.08 and then install 5.09 on top of it.
