Thanks Chuckk, As i said before this problem is specific to csound. With other applications i have no problems. Actually i had the same problem with all the audio software first but after adding the lines below in to my "/etc/security/limits.conf" file the problem is solved. @audio - rtprio 95 @audio - memloack 512000 @audio - nice -19 Now the only problem is with csound. But that's not fatal. :) I can keep my mouse fixed.
