Interesting thread (and an interesting take on "goodness" in music).
I am surprised that archive.org has not come up, so here I come :)

It is not necessarily easy to find good music on archive.org, there's
everything there.  But what i like to do sometimes is type in some
keyword into the search engine (according to my mood/want/fantasy of
the day) and listen to a bunch of results.  Sometimes it's bad,
sometimes it's good but usually it is satisfying (overall, at least).
But then, I do not always feel like I have wasted my time listening to
bad music...  It does take some bad music to appreciate good music.
