Oops. Didn't mean to put words in anyones mouth. It was definitely I who used the word spam. Sorry to make people diffuse my careless post.
Bruce, I am admittedly a late arriver, was not familiar with your post and was certainly not speaking directly in ref. to it. You definitely don't sound like a shameless self-promoter, based on the post I just read. I do have some friends who are, though. I mostly still like them even though they must sometimes be dealt with forcibly ;) . Rather, I assumed that Mike received a multitude of junk messages addressed to him at his PERSONAL email, whose contents were not visible on this list.
Once again, sorry for being slightly obtuse in this matter. And if I make another mistake, let it be known that "My words are definitely my own" <--- (me). I will of course, attempt to avoid all instances of paraphrasing other list members in the future, as well as try my best to practice more considerate communication in general so as to maximize Csound and music related discussion and minimize clean-up from my own interpersonal blunders. Anyway, hope people enjoy the links and artists. I will definitely let the list know if I am ever in NY, and hopefully someone will have the scoop on interesting events to attend.
Oh, I also forgot to mention the High Voltage Sid collection (which you are probably all already familiar with). Demo scene and other stuffs from the commodore days---> Super sexy when ripped to wav, recorded to cassette and reproduced on the stock tape deck installed in your beat up biodiesel- converted mercedes, one of which I unfortunately do not own... yet.
Best regards,
Keith

I wish you all the luck in the world with your music, really I do. I should have been much more careful in how I worded my post.
I now realize how sensitive this kind of discussion is when so many people involved are both listeners and musicians, and everybody is online together. However, I am still interested in furthering the discussion.
I was not the one who used the word "spam," by the way.

Mike
