I've been checking out tonegents.blogspot.com, which has a lot of jazz and funk, I love listening to that stuff at work. I also go to brooklynvegan.com a lot, which is pretty dedicated to Indie rock and the live rock show scene around new york and brooklyn. I suspect that might not really be your cup of tea, though. NPR is also very good about making all their shows and music programs available online, and as I was looking for a link to post for that I came across a page of music blogs on their site: http://www.npr.org/music/blogs/ i think I'll be checking some of those out this afternoon.
