Thank you for both your postings. I am still too much of a
newbie to worry about GUIs; they are just another way that I
can make a mistake<g>. Besides, will they work on Linux?

My present procedure: I have a very very simple .orc, and an almost
equally simple collection of .sco files, which I keep editing and
amending. So I run: csound -W intro.orc <whatever>.sco , and
if I haven't made a mistake I get a test.wav . And then I
	aplay test.wav
and see if it is what I had hoped to get.

Now, in the spirit of playing around, I want to add a new instrument
to my intro.orc. I need to contrast voices if I'm going to make anything
besides simple tunes.

Thanks to Mr Cogins for his helpful remarks.

Best wishes to all,

Alan
