Adapted from CsoundAV (4.23) to Csound5 are the Max Mathews radio baton UDOs available on cSounds.com rbatonPercPad - XY coordinates of strike velocity for both sticks http://www.csounds.com/udo/displayOpcode.php?opcode_id=69 rbatonPot - 4 pan pots on the front of the device itself http://www.csounds.com/udo/displayOpcode.php?opcode_id=68 rbatonXYZ - continuous coordinate data for both sticks http://www.csounds.com/udo/displayOpcode.php?opcode_id=65 You can just stick those UDOs in your orc and send their values to control whatever you want. If you want to make something new, you'll notice they just use MIDI aftertouch messages. Limiting the stream can be important since they send so much data. -David On Dec 17, 2007 11:04 AM, Edward Childs wrote: > Hello, > > Apologies if this is slightly off topic but I own a 2004 vintage Radio > Baton which I am currently using on a MAC and would love to be in touch > with anyone on the CSound list who works with this device. > > Thanks and best regards, > > Edward > > -- > Edward Childs > (802) 765-4542 (H) > (508) 320-2318 (C) > (802) 280-6151 (W) > (802)-296-2325 (Fax) > > > > > Send bugs reports to this list. > To unsubscribe, send email sympa@lists.bath.ac.uk with body "unsubscribe csound" >
