Actually that's not really a concern with Haiku icons. As I mentioend, they're vector based, -- the same data is used for all scales -- and in addition they have a clever "Level of Detail" feature that controls the appearance at various scales. .I already incorporated that for the 16x16b one (not shown in my comparison image, but included in my earlier post). My thought was more that the "modern elegance" of the new one is pretty much lost at icon size, whereas the distinctive "clef" still shows.
