at university of sao paulo (brazil) there is a "sound computing" subject at the computer science department and a "computer music programming" subject at the music department. in the computer music subject pure data and csound are used in equal proportions; for the sound computing subject, different languages were used in different years. csound was used once (in 2010 if i'm not wrong). cheers, antonio.
