Periodic Noise

I'm looking for a good way to generate periodic white noise. I tried Gen21, but makes the signal for standard noise unipolar. I tried using some of the other noise types, and got some results, but it was not quite what I was looking for. I tried other noise types, like Guasian, but could not get the desired results (maybe I'm doing this wrong).
A program that analyzes wavefiles into harmonic or enharmonic components might be the best useful to me. I could then use Cool edit to generate noise, find the segment I want and break down the partials, and translate them into Csound. I used to have a program that broke the waveform down, but don't know where to download anything like this. I guess I could load samples.
Any thoughts? Thanks. Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! SiteBuilder - Free, easy-to-use web site design software |
