Hi all, I'm about to buy an AMD64 3000+ for running linux and csound hella fast.
Anyone have any idea how the K8T800 and nVidia nforce3 250gb chipsets compare to
each other for said application? Any suggestions for specific mobo? I will pay
more for reliability, so I was thinking Asus, but I have heard that MSI are also
solidly built and make some hot nvidia boards.

Ram suggestions would be welcome too. I can afford to buy a 512 Meg stick, can't
tell which kind to get though. 

Man, can't wait to see how this puppy will do with a patched kernel . . .
