I commited my last translated files. I think everything is updated. I commited into manual-fr a minimal csound.css file that treats the <emphasis role="strong"> problem and does some layout improvements on listings (lightgray background) and tables. I ordered the book "DocBook XSL: The Complete Guide" (http://www.sagehill.net/book-description.html). When I get the book it will help understanding the different classes to work on csound.css. If this csound.css file has to be used for the html builts, then Makefile has to be modified to copy csound.css into the html directories. For the html pages sequence problem (score statements among orchestra description) a solution might be to cut the following entities from manual/orch/statemnt.xml : &scoregensa; &scoregensb; &scoregense; &scoregensf; &scoregensi; &scoregensm; &scoregensn; &scoregensq; &scoregensr; &scoregenss; &scoregenst; &scoregensv; &scoregensx; and paste them into manual/scoregens/top.xml between the section "Score Statements" and the section "Gen Routines". (I didn't commit yet the changes in these two files, waiting for your advice). I've built the html version of the current version of the french manual with all the modifications mentioned above and you can see the result here: http://perso.numericable.fr/~fpinotfran36/fp.carnets/csound/manual-fr/html For the utf-8 issue, the input files (xml files) have to be encoded in utf-8. This is fixed by the first line of the manual.xml file: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?> This means that unless typing in pure ascii using entities you MUST use a text editor producing utf-8 encoding to write the manual xml files. The html output files which are produced by docbook are encoded in utf-8 too. We can see it in the head section of the html files: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" /> This means that you should use a recent browser to look at those files, so that the utf-8 encoding is correctly interpreted.
