  Well, this was quick:

[dlphilp@localhost csound5]$ ./autogen.sh
configure.ac: installing `./mkinstalldirs'
configure.ac: installing `./missing'
Makefile.am: installing `./compile'
Makefile.am: installing `./depcomp'
aclocal.m4:889: required file `./ltmain.sh' not found
./autogen.sh: line 4: ./configure: Permission denied
Now type 'make' to compile


  The autogen script is not giving the configure script the correct 
permissions.
