Can someone explain how "building your own minimal system" would work? Would
the non-technical average user (e.g., me) be able to do that?

I'm interested in minimal systems too, but primarily in a "standard",
average-user, minimal system. To me, that means a core collection of
opcodes - currently, stdopcod.dll. This collection is, however, probably too
large as it is; a majority of its contents I've never even heard of.

So, unless it were fairly easy *for me* to make a standard grouping, I hope
there would continue to be a core collection.
