Is that similar to what I want for Csound (if not yet available):
My application would be a sequencer similar to Ableton Live or Logic
and would manage the sequence, GUI and the file resources.
The Csound would run simultaneously in another process.
My application would build the orchestra inside Csound. At any time,
I could remove or add parts of the orchestra. The sequenced composition
is played by sending the score to Csound. At any time, score could be
manipulated and playing stopped.
Can Csound record audio? It is not necessary but Csound as an audio/dsp
engine for other applications would require it.
