| Last week, I lost all the data on one of my computer's hard disks (not the one with my projects and data, the one with my operating system) by accident. It has taken me a few days to re-install Windows and a lot of Windows software that I depend on for building the Windows installers. This has delayed uploading a beta of the installers. I am now working on the Windows build, and I am going to try to make it a Microsoft Visual C++ build this time.
Also, SourceForge was down yesterday and still seems to be down, so that might delay things.
Changes so far:
I have patched the FluidSynth source code with some patches from the FluidSynth mailing list (this seems to be a not very well maintained project), which should improve the sound and stability of the opcodes based directly on the FluidSynth library.
I am trying the latest prerelease version of libsndfile (with ogg and flac support).
I will need to update the build instructions in the Csound manual, which are out of date.
Regards,
Mike
