| Your PC will boot Linux right off the CD, and you will be in a Linux shell and run Csound. It would be just as though you had installed Linux on your PC. If you have FAT32, no problem reading and writing files on the hard disk.
The only problem are NTFS filesystems can't safely be written to. If you have NTFS you can create a FAT32 partition, or you can use a USB stick or something for your home directory.
