Subject[Cs-dev] manual update or what?
Hi folk,
I have some questions some possibly elementary or "insider knowledge".
If this is not the most appropriate forum for these please indicate to where
I should ask them.

1. How does one know whether the manual and the latest version of the code
coincide? Should the URLs on copyright page &/or Preface History include
sourceforge ref.? the
http://www.lakewoodsound.com/csound/hypertext/manual.htm is broken.

2. On configuring.html it says
> On Unix and Linux, either install the Csound program in one of the system

I see that the package has installed csound at /usr/local/bin//csound but
/usr/local/lib/csound/plugin* doesn't exist.
Has this been superceded for the OSX install (by package management ..)?

I have a couple of questions about John ffitch's OSC opcodes. Do I post them
here or to him directly?

many thanks,

David
[bg: I'm not up-to-date with recent developments. Its 10 years since I used
csound in RT (on SGI: b4 that I go back to Music5/C on punchcards etc :-)
but have been doing lots of NRT synth-to-file in the last couple of months
using Matt Ingels MacCsound 1.2a5 (thanks Matt!)

I'm running PPC (g4, OSX 10.3.9) and Intel laptop (OSX 10.4.x) and just
upgraded to cs5.02 and MacCsound 1.3b1 and sound is happening...]

Hi,
Any questions can be asked to this list, or the main one, whichever you
prefer.
All input is very welcome. The manual is very large, outdated, and still
contains many mistakes, so any feedback is welcome. Usually the most
efficient way to give feedback is to propose a change if possible. As
Michael said, if you want to contribute, you can ask John for cvs
access.

Cheers,
Andres
