| (Funny, I got home today and found I sent the following email to myself
instead of the list. =o )
Hi John and all,
I fixed up some things in the SConstruct file that seemed to have been
broken in checkin (some lines weren't tabbed correctly in the latest
version). I have also readded the install commandline flag, but this
time it is default to 1. As John has been having issues with the target,
I hope this compromise works out for all of us.
By defaulting to 1, you can install from scons typing:
scons install
If you're on a system that is having problems and install is being
called, you can disable the installation targets from ever being set by:
scons install=0 [rest of flags and targets]
Now, I've just built on Linux and Windows (MinGW) today and neither
auto-installed. I've also not heard from anyone else that this was
happening to them. This was also not the case for me on OSX last week.
As I am unable to reproduce the problem, I hope this solution is
acceptable by all parties.
Thanks,
steven
