I have a version of InOut/widgets.cpp that has all the statics
encapsulated in a structure.  The problems are that the CSOUND pointer
is not available in the Fl classes, and my knowledge of C++ leaves me
lost.
  I am not checking this back in yet as it does not compile.  Anyone
want to try (either from scratch or from my attempt)?
