There is a pre release of 1.0.13 which contains reading of instrument
chunks for AIFF. I suspect that it will not get released until the
WAV version is written. If I do not see any movement soon I will
renew my offer to do WAV as well.
The ChangeLog here says
2005-12-28 jpff
* Engine/fgens.c (gen01raw): Restore looping stuff, which requires
libsndfile 1.0.13pre3 or later, so protected by BETA still
Victor> When does one move to RC2? And what next?
I tried to create a rc2 last night, but this morning I realised that
there is a major problem with the files (dynamic loading of
libcsound.so requires much more treatment for non-root users, and my
installer was not written with the intention of supporting dynamic
binaries -- which personally I think have caused way way too many
problems throughout the Linux world)
As I am now in a situation where i cannot update my tree i am not sure
if there will be an rc2. I notice that despite my asking for minimal
changes at this time that entry2.c has vanished, and I have no idea
what else as ChangeLog is not being maintained.
I am close to going back to composing, and playing with my new present
-- a complete CDP system
