Hi,

I can declared a GEN43 function in score:

f1 0 512 -43 "/Users/olipet/CeciliaAN/ounkmaster.aiff.33.pvx" 0

... and the program is ok.

But, for a reason  I don't understand, if I declared it in the  
orchestra with ftgen:

gifn                    ftgen         1, 0, 512, -43, "/Users/olipet/ 
CeciliaAN/ounkmaster.aiff.33.pvx", 0

I get this error:

INIT ERROR in instr 1: ftgen string arg not allowed
gifn    ftgen   10      0       512     -43     "/Users/olipet/ 
CeciliaAN/ounkmaster.aiff.33.pvx"        0

I wish to declared it in the orchestra to set automatically the  
numbers of points in the function... Is it possible?

Yes, I will change ftgen in Csound 5 to allow a string value for p5
in the case of GEN43 too.
