Yes, I really would like Rory's "does not work" example to work also.

Not only can the header statement

gichan chnget "Channel"

not pass a Lettuce widget value ("Channel") to

massign gichan, -1

but gichan doesn't work in any ensuing instrument blocks either (as Rory
demonstrates).

Could a developer please investigate this (apparently API) issue further?
