I thought that piping stdout was always implemented, and even piping audio 
with -o "|myprog"

Or have I missed something?

Just wondering whether it will be possible under csound5 ( or if it already
and I don't know it! ) for Csound to actually use stdout to another app or
to another csound instance. This would be extremely useful for heavy real
time use, and also allow some nice control interfaces from standalones.

Humorously, my first attempt at sending this message got rejected from the
server because:

Hence, your message looks like it was intended for the ListProc server,
rather than for a particular list.  If you are trying to send server
commands, please send them to listproc@eartha.mills.edu.  If you
were trying to send a message to the list, please rephrase your message
so the command word does not appear at the beginning of a message line.
