I posted a message on the bug message board of FLTK to see
if anyone knows abou this. I think all the problems we are
experiencing with FLTK threads have to to Fl::wait(); it seems that
Fl does not work in multiple threads on OSX 10.4.

It seems OK in 10.3, at least here.
