Hi everyone, are we heading towards a freeze, tag and release at the end of this week? Is that going to be 5.16f1 or 5.17? I think in another thread we had come up with Friday for tagging. However, we should probably test the src tarball for compilation errors, to avoid problems that Iain had raised with previous tarballs. Maybe tag 5.17_beta on Friday, test build from tarball, make commits to make any fixes, then tag 5.17, retest, release? It looks like one issue with the previous release was that csbeats build was not turned on (perhaps we should just build it by default?) The OSX installer scripts will need to be updated to add this to the release. On Mon, Mar 12, 2012 at 11:30 AM, |

Active? Was it not there already? What about this schedule: freeze and tag on Friday, build binaries over weekend, release next week.
