Hi,
I've committed a reorganization and cleanup of part of the overview
section. This message is specially for Michael, because I have moved
many things around, in case you are already planning to put your
tutorial in the manual. I have also added a front-end section. I plan to
include brief mentions of several front ends. If front end authors can
provide short information for your front-end it would be great.

I've also removed the to-do section of the manual, which is hard to
maintain and unnecessary in the manual.
