Thanks for this.

Can you, or anyone, point me to specific instructions as to how to download 
and install either of these options?

I've tried the "obvious" methods, such as:
yum updates-testing csound
and yum update csound
but have hit a blank wall.

I've never tried anything in testing mode before.
