[Cs-dev] Legacy machines

Subject[Cs-dev] Legacy machines
We were wondering if anyone is still developing for any of these
legacy hardware or software:

mac_classic
OS9
Metrowerks
Symantec C compiler
Borland C
NeXT
WatcomC

??

Just looking at simplifying the code we maintain.

Also, is anyone developing for a machine without IEEE arithmetic?

I used to use Borland a little, but not anymore! I've moved on!

I don't develop for such platforms, but I think several embedded chips do not have floating point coprocessors. The debian "armel" port is built targets chips without floating point hardware (I think some NAS devices and routers can be made to run this distro).

Also MACH

My concern about IEEE is more related to other floating point
representations than to fixed point
