You can update directories individually, I don't know about excluding them
individually. In WinCVS you could select all the root level files and
directories except for the .dll and .so directories.

Hi all,
Is there a way to exclude certain types of files from a fresh cvs 
checkout? I am updating my sources and it takes a very long time to 
download the .dll files which I will not use, since I have a dial-up 
connection.
