While still thinking there is a need for snapshots there is good sense in moving them out of the src tree. Would it be a good idea to create a top-level directory for binary snapshots? And then remove the current ones. ==John ffitch ------------------------------------------------------- SF email is sponsored by - The IT Product Guide Read honest & candid reviews on hundreds of IT Products from real users. Greetings: Please consider doing this, those binaries have no need to be included with the CVS Cs5 sources. If I remove them the update just puts them back (though I'm sure there's some CV command switch to reject them). I also understand the need for snapshots, but would be grateful if they are not in the cs5 sources directory, since my dial up connection chokes on them... I haven't found the cvs command to ignore directories....
