| Well, thanks for taking a look at this issue yourself. This is something we
should never take for granted, and should re-visit periodically. After all,
the only reason to have a computer at all is that it is fast, so the faster,
the better. If a program basically isn't running nearly as fast as possible,
the programmers are not on the job.
