If it can be agreed on, then a script to ensure uniformity in
indentation and whitespace usage can be a good thing because it
prevents lots of little commits that change nothing but
indentation and whitespace and/or prevents indenation/whitespace
changes creeping into commits that actually do something useful.
However, everyone has to agree that this is a good idea. One
person doing it unilaterally is not likely to foster good
relations between developers.
