may i ask if the "i can only use one string per score line" issue is already solved in cs6, or is on the to-do list? i think i am not the only one who struggles with this limitation. it would be wonderful to get rid of it in cs6. best - joachim ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Free Next-Gen Firewall Hardware Offer Buy your Sophos next-gen firewall before the end March 2013 and get the hardware for free! As Victor says... unless there are bugs. I have not confirmed that it works with large number of p-args (ie in the extension) but I think it should work. As in all CS6 stuff, it really needs testing. We are very nearly at the stage of seeking people to check and test. Only a few items to go. Back to the code...... ==John > Already solved. > On 7 Feb 2013, at 09:15, joachim heintz wrote: > >> may i ask if the "i can only use one string per score line" issue is >> already solved in cs6, or is on the to-do list? >> i think i am not the only one who struggles with this limitation. it >> would be wonderful to get rid of it in cs6. >> best - >> joachim >> >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ >> Free Next-Gen Firewall Hardware Offer >> Buy your Sophos next-gen firewall before the end March 2013 >> and get the hardware for free! This is strange. It works when connected through midi input but not USB, even though the USB midi device is detected in csoundqt and it works as midi in both pd and max. P

CsoundQt's USB MIDI could use a little checking/updating. Not sure if it was the USB ports on my MacBook Pro, but CsoundQt keeps "dropping" the device after some time of non-use. I launch the IDE and check the devices and it says my LPK25 is there, and then 5-10 minutes later, there are "no-devices" connected to the USB - even though it is still plugged in. This is not fun, in front of The Csound Class @ Berklee when teaching
MIDI for the first time. But that's the story lately. -dB

But it's not working for me at all. How did you get it to work? P

I'm wondering if there is any way to get the controller to run as portmidi? (please see the picture attached). BTW record seems to be working here.

does it "record" to an .aif file? On Thu, Feb 7, 2013 at 12:51 PM, peiman khosravi <peimankhosravi@gmail.com> wrote: I'm wondering if there is any way to get the controller to run as portmidi? (please see the picture attached). |

As far as I can see there is no way to define the record file format (other than the bit depth). It records to wav. Best, Peiman PS once I set the midi interface preference in General preferences it works.

It's writing t in the same folder as the csd. Could it be that the csd is placed in a location without write permission? Any chance of making the subject reflect the issue? I care deeply about strings on score lines but these messages do not seem to relevant to that topic > As far as I can see there is no way to define the record file format > (other > than the bit depth).
