I have updated Git to enable and document building, installing, and
running csound.node on Linux.

Csound.node enables running native Csound in applications created
using nw.js, which essentially uses the Chrome web browser to create
desktop applications. Both of the pieces that I presented at the
recent New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival were created using
csound.node.

The advantages of working this way, I have found, are large. Every
facility of HTML5 is available in nw.js and thus can be used with
Csound including, e.g., highly flexible custom user interfaces and
interactive, high-performance, 3-dimensional computer graphics.

Regards,
Mike

Fantastic! This is something I've been waiting for, since I'm on Linux. Looking forward to trying it out, though it will probably be a while before I have time. Thanks, Mike!

Thank you!

I was about to ask about building instructions but found out that good getting-started is in:

frontends/nwjs/README.md

Hope to try it out soon!
