[Cs-dev] Media Wiki on Sourceforge

Subject[Cs-dev] Media Wiki on Sourceforge
Hi,

The sourceforge on Media Wiki is closed to edition by default. To
allow someone to edit the Media Wiki, it is necessary to go to the
special pages link on the left:
https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/csound/index.php?title=Special:SpecialPages

There on the Users and Rights section, there is a link to User Rights
Management. Once you type there the name of a user that has already
visited the wiki at least once, you will be able to set it to editor.

Can you do that for me John? Or would it be better to find wiki
hosting somwhere more convenient?

I'm hoping to put together there all ideas for improvements and
suggestions for API changes so they are gathered in a single place.

Cheers,
Andres

Thanks, I can write there now, but I'm wondering if we should find a
better place for a wiki where you don't have to manually have to allow
everyone...

Anyone know a good safe place to store a wiki (I also don't want us to
have to worry about wiki spam or hacking)...

Cheers,
Andres

I think a wiki regarding API related issues should probably stay on
sourceforge? I know it's awkward but it'll be found easier there than
on an external site?

In case anyone wants to have a go, the address is here:
https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/csound/index.php?title=Main_Page

You'll need a sourceforge login and letting john know after you've
visited the wiki once.

Cheers,
Andres
