I've assigned myself an issue to implement Ableton's link protocol for Csound. My preliminary opcode interface is in the issue at https://github.com/csound/csound/issues/739. I still think this is something that should be left for frontends to take care off. If we were inundated with requests for this feature I might think differently. But it seems to me a boutique feature at best, that will only serve to further complicate a complete build of Csound. My two cents. I'll leave it at that.
