There's an mac intel build now on www.cernproductions.com (R8) that
should have fixed the problem with OPCODEDIR not being set correctly.

Sorry that took so long, just spotted a few files that scons -c hadn't
cleaned.

Thanks Jim so much - this port is a incredibly faster on the MacBook
Pro....

Sure.... it would be cool if we could get Csound5GUI happenning and
MacCsound UB happening now.

But your port is HUGE in speeding up my system and making possible a
better set of premieres this MONTH...

- one at FEMF16 in Gainesville FL http://emu.music.ufl.edu/femf/
fest16prg.html
and the other at the 80th Birthday Celebration for Max Mathews out in
SF http://ccrma.stanford.edu/maxfest/ ....

plus performances in NYC (MonkeyTown April 24) and Boston GASP (April
22) with my friend Marek Choloniewski from Krakow

Thanks again....

Just tested....

Seems good - it installs a version from March 17th (is this correct, or should the version date be closer to today?)

Jim I am happy to report that this install automatically knows where to find the opcode dir - super!

Thanks so much for all your work on this - and thanks Victor and everyone else for helping too.  I think we have an intel Build!!!

All seems to be working except for:

1. the NEW bugs with soundfonts and the fluid opcodes in all the newest releases! (my OLPC model orchestras aren't running now)
- fluid stuff is dead - won't read .sf2 files that it used to read
- and the soundfont stuff blows up a lot now.

2.  we seem to be missing the  FLvkeybd "keyboard.map", 520, 100, 18,560  opcode in the macintosh releases

3.  seem to be missing the STK opcodes in the Macintosh releases - even though they are in the Windows release
and designers are using them there - but their orchestras are not running on the mac.

If so I'll let John know and get it put up on the source forge page.

I had the entire framework still built as non-build - for some reason
I've yet to get to the bottom of, so I suspect this latest package is
smaller and faster than before as well as having that bug ironed out.

Just got such a cool toy in the studio though, a bit distracted, the NI
Kore with 8 lovely continous controllers and this crazy library system
for sounds that looks amazing.  Going to see if I can get csound working
as a plugin inside protools with it.

Where does it say March the 17th?

Maybe some of the folders I created date from then, hopefully CsoundLib is much newer!

:)

How many of the 1,2 and 3 to I need to fix?

I think bugs in fluid might be someone elses problem but 2 and 3 might be fixable.  Not sure why I didn't put the STK stuff together.
