I wonder if this method of analysis could be useful for us.

We've used it very successfully in a machine learning project I'm
working on, with it providing much more stable data than what we could
get from other (i.e. FFT based) methods.
It would perhaps be possible to use it for feature extraction within
Csound, like pitch tracking and other features. Perhaps it can also
somehow be used generatively (like an IFFT equivalent, but within the
Cochlear model).
There may be practical issues regarding implementation that makes this
hard to do, I haven't thought it out in any detail, just wanted to
throw in the idea and hear what you think.
