Which poses the question of what to use to send an OSC message, and we
come back again to using a scripting language, with which you can send
a score event directly, anyway.

I think the easiest way is to send your event, as a string, to a Csound instrument with OSC and use the opcode scoreline to get the note into Csound. Works well for me...

Hi everyone,

I am wondering why "-L stdin" does not work on Windows XP?  What is
the easiest way to get realtime score events into csound using XP?  Do
I really need to install tcl just to do that, or is there an easier
way?

 Thanks for your help

Matthew
